Swift was upset with a call during the game
Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift shared a box on Sunday while attending the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Mahomes seemed to embrace Swift’s “dads, Brads, and Chads” commentary as she posted a photo on her Instagram Stories featuring a cookie adorned with the line in frosting. The cookie also featured two hands forming a “W” in the background.
Swift commented during an interview with Time magazine earlier this month when she was honored as the outlet’s Person of the Year for 2023. She discussed the constant presence of cameras on her in the suite. She explained that she was trying to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Describing the situation, she said, “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”

“I’m just there to support Travis,” she stated. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Swift displayed a level of animation that NFL fans haven’t typically seen from her at games. While her usual role involves cheering on Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, she was noticeably upset about a non-call on the Patriots during this particular game.
Kelce attempted to gain position against a defensive back when he fell. Swift appeared to yell, visibly upset in the box, presumably hoping for a penalty flag, but her call went unanswered.
Despite the incident, Kansas City emerged victorious in the game with a final score of 27-17.
