Lien documents show Biden's daughter owes thousands in income taxes

Ashley Biden, President Biden’s daughter, has been reported to owe $5,000 in income taxes dating back to 2015, as revealed in a recent tax lien docket acquired by Fox News Digital. Tax liens are legal claims imposed by the government to secure unpaid taxes on a property or assets after multiple attempts to collect have been unsuccessful.

On December 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Philadelphia County formally notified Biden that the outstanding amount, inclusive of tax, interest, additions, or penalties, constitutes a lien in favour of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the taxpayer’s property, whether real, personal, or both, as specified in the notice.

The indicated liability period on the lien begins on January 1, 2015, during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, and extends until January 1, 2021, just days before he assumed the presidency.

Ashley Biden and her attorney have yet to respond to several requests for comment.

Garrett Ziegler, founder of the nonprofit Marco Polo and a former aide to President Trump, expressed his perspective in an interview with Fox News Digital on Friday. Ziegler noted that while the financial situation is not comparable to that of Hunter Biden, President Biden frequently emphasizes the responsibility of wealthy and well-connected individuals to pay their fair share of taxes. Ziegler pointed out that it is noteworthy that both of Joe Biden’s living children have encountered issues with unpaid taxes.

Ziegler remarked, “This is another example of the Bidens being careless. You would expect them to exercise more caution, especially as the first family of the United States, to ensure they do not have any tax liens, particularly heading into an election year.”

Ziegler, the creator of BidenLaptopMedia.com, has compiled a collection of almost 10,000 photos from Hunter Biden’s controversial laptop spanning 2008 to 2019. Ziegler reported that his team stumbled upon Ashley Biden’s tax lien during a routine search in the Philadelphia County courthouse system.

In addressing the publication of the laptop findings, Ziegler told Fox Digital, “We’re not Republican activists.”

He continued, “None of us are registered Republicans. I love Trump precisely because he wasn’t a standard Republican. So this is not a hit job. We’re going to keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a good light and keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a bad light. The American people can judge what they think about their first family through this.”

Born on June 8, 1981, Ashley Biden is the youngest among Joe Biden’s children and the sole offspring of Joe and Jill Biden. Ashley has dedicated her career primarily to social work, activism, and philanthropy. Per her LinkedIn profile, she is currently employed at the Delaware Center for Justice, focusing on criminal justice reform.

From 2007 to 2012, Ashley served as a social worker in the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth, and Their Families. 2010, she earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice.

In 2017, while still associated with the Delaware Center for Justice—a nonprofit organization dedicated to criminal justice reform—Ashley launched a charitable fashion brand called Livelihood. In 2019, she left her position at the Delaware Center for Justice to actively contribute to her father’s presidential campaign.

In March, it was reported that Ashley Biden was applying for a doctorate in clinical social work at the University of Pennsylvania. Her intended focus of study is the neurobiology of trauma, and she plans to develop her curriculum.

During the preceding summer, two individuals from Florida entered a guilty plea in federal court in New York City. They were charged with stealing Ashley Biden’s diary and other belongings, subsequently selling them to the conservative watchdog group Project Veritas in the closing weeks of the 2020 presidential election.
