Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent their second wedding anniversary on opposite coasts, fueling speculation about the state of their relationship. Sources tell Fox News Digital that the couple has nothing to celebrate right now and are not planning to reconcile.
“They are not getting back together,” one source claims. “They have no plans to announce that they aren’t a couple right now. JLo wanted to make it work badly, but he’s just a different person to her now.”

The couple, who tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022, have been apart recently, with Lopez in the Hamptons and Affleck in Los Angeles. Lopez was seen leaving a gym in the Hamptons on Thursday, looking fit in a white bralette top and light-colored sweatpants.
She accessorized with large gold hoop earrings and white sunglasses. Meanwhile, Affleck was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday, dressed in a suit with a blue shirt and carrying a duffle bag as he headed into his office.
Despite their separation, Lopez has been spending time with Affleck’s oldest daughter, Violet, in New York. Affleck, who shares Violet, Seraphina, and Sam with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, has been busy filming “The Accountant 2” in California. Lopez shares twins, Max and Emme, with her third husband, singer Marc Anthony.
“Violet and all the kids have remained close to JLo, which is why Violet is in the Hamptons with JLo,” the source noted. However, the source also emphasized that Lopez and Affleck are not trying to work things out. “They’re not trying to work it out. They have zero plans to announce this anytime soon.”

In the documentary, Lopez shared that her new album was inspired by love letters Affleck had written to her. Affleck, however, expressed his discomfort with sharing private aspects of their relationship publicly.
“Jen was inspired by this experience, which is how artists do their work. They get inspired by their personal life, it moves you. I know as a writer and director I certainly do the same things.
But private things I had always felt are sacred and special, in part because they’re private. So, this was something of an adjustment for me,” Affleck said.
Lopez and Affleck have faced breakup rumors since they went 47 days without being seen together earlier this year. They have since been spotted together on rare occasions, such as at school graduations for Violet and Samuel.
Recently, Affleck moved out of the mansion they shared ahead of Lopez’s return from her vacation in Italy, and Lopez is currently living at the estate while Affleck stays in a rental nearby in Brentwood.
“He started moving out a while ago,” a source told Fox News Digital last week. “The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly.”
The couple’s separation was further highlighted when they listed their six-acre Beverly Hills estate for $68 million, just days after spending the 4th of July holiday apart.
Lopez also posted the official music video for her song “Cambia El Paso” on Instagram on July 7, which many interpreted as a hint at the breakup. The song’s lyrics include, “He doesn’t deserve to have her in his arms,” and “One, two, three, move forward.”
