Fireball emerges after Israel strikes back at Lebanese militant group
The Israeli military has shared a video showing a fierce attack on a Hezbollah “terrorist target”.
The Israeli Air Force wrote in X that the attack took place at night, with footage depicting a fireball emerging after the airstrike.
Hezbollah, based in Lebanon, has been engaged in cross-border clashes with Israeli forces as military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip heat up.
The Air Force released the video as it continues its ground operation in Gaza, which it announced this morning that Mohsen Abu Zina — described as Hamas’s “head of arms and industry” — is the group’s latest top official to be taken out.

“He served as one of Hamas’ leading weapons developers, specializing in tactical weapons and rockets,” the IDF said.
And for the third day in a row, the Israeli army opened an evacuation route in northern Gaza for residents to head south.
“The area of the northern Gaza Strip is considered an area of fierce fighting and time is running out to evacuate it,” IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Avichai wrote in Addre X. “They joined the hundreds of thousands who responded to the calls and headed south. In recent days.”

IDF On X also quoted Ashdod Navy Base Commander Col. Eitan Paz as saying, “The Israeli Navy is working in full cooperation with the forces operating on the ground in Gaza.”
“Last month, our navy successfully neutralized several terrorist and terror targets in Gaza,” it added. “Our forces are focused on defense against maritime violations, offense against terrorist targets, and round-the-clock assistance to land forces.”
The Israel-Hamas war entered a month yesterday with around 240 hostages remaining in Gaza.
More than 10,000 people have died in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli counterattack, according to the Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Health.
