Taylor Swift has been the primary topic of Super Bowl discussions in recent days as the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers get ready to compete for the Lombardi Trophy.

All Swift has done is support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as their relationship has blossomed before NFL fans and Swifties.

Despite the online discussions on social media that may indicate otherwise, a pair of former NFL legends affirm that the pop star has a positive impact on the league.

“I believe it’s fantastic for football, man,” expressed former New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski to Fox News Digital. “I don’t think it’s exaggerated at all. She’s there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who’s one of the best players in the game.”

“It’s truly unbelievable how he’s been performing in these playoffs, making those incredibly significant plays in the last two games. That’s why the Chiefs are advancing – Travis Kelce has elevated his game to another level. The same goes for the defense. It’s great for the game, man – overall.”

Julian Edelman, Gronkowski’s former teammate with the Patriots, concurred.

“I believe it’s excellent for the game,” the wide receiver added. “Anytime you enhance the prominence of our sport, it’s a positive. I love football and the NFL. They’ve provided us with so much. The boost from Taylor is undeniable. I attended the concert. I have a 7-year-old daughter. So, it’s pretty cool.”

The influence of Swift is undoubtedly present. She has been seen wearing Chiefs gear at games in Arrowhead Stadium and even donned a jacket designed by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk.

On Tuesday, the NFL announced that the wild-card round through the conference championships averaged 38.5 million viewers, with a total of 120.4 million viewers tuning in for the AFC and NFC championship games. These playoffs set a record as the most-watched in history.
