A 14-year-old girl was stabbed several times by her younger brother in their Queens home Saturday night, law enforcement sources said.
The teenager suffered “multiple stab wounds to the body” around 7 p.m. at the 111th Avenue and 156th Street house in Jamaica, the NYPD confirmed.
She was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
The younger brother was arrested at the house, sources said.
His age is not yet clear, and it was also not clear what, if any, charges he would face.
The troubled family had moved to the south Queens neighborhood a few years ago, a neighbor told The Post.
The neighbor — who did not share her name — said the family kept to themselves but seemed to get along.
“Every now and then you might see them laughing and playing,” she said about the kids.
“I think it’s horrible. I was praying for the family. I was saying I hope everyone is ok there.”
