Former NFL stars say, Taylor Swift frenzy ‘great for football.’

But as the relationship grows more serious, so does her airtime and the hate she receives.

Before the Chiefs made the Super Bowl, there was speculation that Swift’s relationship with Kelsey led to the football star’s increased popularity, adding pressure to him and his teammates, leading to the regular season.

Of course, they shut everyone out by making their fourth Super Bowl in five years, but that didn’t stop the trolls from ripping Swift.

That prompted NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley to speak out.

“If you’re saying at Taylor Swift that she ruined [football], you’re just a loser. You’re either a loser or a jackass,” he said on his CNN show.

Swift became friends with Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany. Mahomes and Kelsey have become the best duo in NFL history since Mahomes took over in 2018.

Mrs. Mahomes shared Barkley’s quirk and echoed the sentiment.

“Let. Them. Know,” she wrote in her Instagram story, via the New York Post.

Swift is expected to be at the Super Bowl despite a concert in Tokyo the night before, but with Tokyo being 17 hours behind the Super Bowl site in Las Vegas, she could be in southern Nevada 24 hours before kickoff.

The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11, who are back in the Super Bowl four years ago.
