President Biden says US will do ‘everything in our power’ to find Americans missing in the Israel-Hamas war

President Biden stated that the United States is actively and diligently working to identify the 13 Americans who are currently unaccounted for in the Israel-Hamas conflict. “We need to let the world know how critical this situation is,” President Biden emphasized. “This behavior is inhumane, it’s not barbaric. We are committed to using all means available to bring them back home if we can locate them.”

The conflict, which began when Hamas launched its attack on Israel on October 7, has led to the loss of more than 3,600 lives, including 30 Americans, and prompted military action by Israeli forces.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Sunday that the United States is actively engaged in locating hostages in Gaza. He also stated that he is not ruling out any options as part of the US effort to resolve the situation.
