President Biden, along with his 2020 campaign staff and key White House aides, has faced criticism for claiming at least 20 times that he “never discussed” his son Hunter’s business dealings with him. This assertion has sparked a backlash from a prominent House Republican who asserts that “there can no longer be any dispute” regarding the repeated falsehoods propagated by Biden and his staff.

Between 2019 and 2023, mounting evidence has contradicted this talking point, and the narrative surrounding it has shifted multiple times, prompting questions from GOP lawmakers. Notably, on August 28, 2019, while on the campaign trail as a presidential candidate, Biden emphatically stated that he had “never discussed” his son’s business dealings with him, punctuating his claim with the word “period.”

A month later, during his campaign in Iowa, Biden reiterated to US Newzs reporter Peter Doocy that he had “never” engaged in discussions with his son regarding his overseas business ventures.

In October, Biden reaffirmed this stance, stating, “I don’t discuss business with my son.” This claim was repeated three more times in October while he campaigned for the presidency, even being emphasized during a Democratic presidential debate when he declared, “I never discussed a single thing with my son about anything having to do with Ukraine.”

Upon assuming the presidency, this same narrative persisted among Biden and his White House staff. In April of 2022, when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked if it was “still the case” that Biden had never communicated with his son about his “overseas business dealings,” she responded affirmatively, saying, “Yes.”

Several weeks later, Psaki reiterated that Biden “maintains the same statements that he’s made in the past” regarding discussions about business with his son.

In June 2023, White House Press Secretary Karine-Jean Pierre asserted, “Nothing has changed,” when questioned once more about whether the father and son had spoken about overseas business matters.

Also in June 2023, when asked if he had previously lied about never discussing business dealings with Hunter, Biden responded with a simple “no.”

However, in July, the White House faced accusations of “moving the goalposts” when White House spokesperson Ian Sams, representing the White House Counsel’s Office, emphasized, “As we have said many times before, the president was not in business with his son .”

During a briefing on July 24, Jean-Pierre reiterated, “The answer remains the same; the president was never in business with his son. I just don’t have anything else to add.”

It was in late July that testimony from former Hunter Biden associate Devon Archer came to light, which led House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer to assert that Biden had “lied” about never discussing business matters with his son. Archer revealed that Hunter had put his father on speakerphone during meetings with business partners at least 20 times, describing how Joe Biden was brought in to help sell “the brand.”

Vice President Biden also had encounters with more than a dozen of Hunter’s foreign business associates, as previously reported by US Newzs Digital.

GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik emphasized that there can be no doubt now that Joe Biden and his team have consistently misled the American public regarding his awareness of and involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business ventures.

Stefanik stated, “House Republicans have conducted thorough investigations that have unveiled mounting evidence not only indicating Biden’s knowledge of Hunter’s business activities, spanning from phone conversations to face-to-face meetings but also his active participation.”

She continued, “This week, House Oversight Chairman James Comer presented evidence that in 2019, Hunter Biden designated Joe Biden’s residence as the beneficiary address for two wire transfers originating from Communist China, all while Joe Biden was actively campaigning for the presidency of the United States. It is evident to the American people that Joe Biden’s integrity is compromised, and House Republicans are committed to ensuring transparency and accountability on behalf of the American people, leaving no stone unturned.”

Furthermore, recent statements made by Hunter’s lawyer earlier this month, asserting that Hunter did not share profits with his father, appear to be contradicted by the content of Hunter’s text messages and emails from his abandoned laptop, as previously reported by US Newzs Digital.

In a January 2019 text message, Hunter expressed frustration with his daughter, Naomi, and disclosed that his father had compelled him to relinquish half of his salary, stating, “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family For 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary,” Hunter wrote.

In a 2018 WhatsApp message exchanged with his uncle, Hunter expressed anger towards now-first lady Jill Biden, referring to her with profanity and claiming she had rejected a proposal related to his teaching plans, insisting that he needed to achieve sobriety first or else. he wouldn’t be able to support his family. Hunter added, “I supported my GM (grandma) family, including some of the expenses you should have used your salary to pay for, for the last 24 years.”

It’s worth noting that the White House did not respond to a request for comment from US Newzs Digital.
