After losing the Nevada primary, Democrats unite to troll Nikki Haley

‘None of these candidates’ led Haley by around 30 points by Wednesday morning with a vast majority of the vote counted

Nikki Haley’s defeat in last night’s Nevada Republican primary has led to an unexpected, albeit temporary, alliance, as both Democrats and supporters of Donald Trump have come together to mock the former U.N. ambassador for losing to “literally no one.”

With a majority of the votes counted, the results indicate that Haley received approximately 30% of the vote, despite being the only candidate left in the race who appeared on the primary ballot, as Trump opted to participate in the state’s caucus, scheduled for Thursday. The primary winner was “None of these candidates,” securing around 63% of the vote.

“Congratulations to Nikki Haley for being the second choice of Nevadans to ‘no one’ and securing a total of zero delegates – and our apologies to Donald Trump, who will also receive the same number of electoral votes in Nevada this November,” stated Democratic National Committee spokesperson Alex Floyd in a statement.

“Reflecting on this, I can’t help but wonder if Nikki Haley regrets not debating ‘None of these Candidates,’ who easily defeated her in Nevada?” former Obama strategist David Axelrod wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Several of Trump’s most ardent supporters took to X to further highlight Haley’s defeat, including former 2020 Trump campaign official Marc Lotter, who remarked, “Nikki Haley lost New Hampshire to Trump by 11%. Nikki Haley lost Nevada by 30% to LITERALLY NO ONE! Nikki Haley is trailing in her home state by 27%. How does she continue?”

“Nikki Haley just lost to ‘none of these candidates’ in Nevada! And not just by a small margin…by nearly double! Nikki – I told you two weeks ago it was high time to drop out! Withdraw from the race tonight! Spare yourself further embarrassment in South Carolina! Let’s concentrate on Beating Biden!” commented Republican National Committee Youth Advisory Council Co-Chair Brilyn Hollyhand.

The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman shared a quote from Alex Pfeiffer, communications director for the pro-Trump super PAC MAGA Inc., jesting that “Haley’s donors would have been better off giving to no candidate.”

“Trump wasn’t on the ballot in Nevada last night, but Nikki Haley still lost to a candidate named ‘None of these Candidates’. Is this surely the end?” commented Rep. Matt Leber, a Republican state legislator in South Carolina, the location of the next major primary contest this month.

Olivia Perez-Cubas, the national spokesperson for the Haley campaign, informed Fox News Digital that Haley is “full steam ahead” in South Carolina and future primaries.
