Hunter Biden tells Chinese energy company his family is ‘very good at doing what the chairman wants out of this partnership’
Hunter Biden demanded $10 million from a Chinese business associate for “further interest” in his joint venture with Chinese energy, which the Chinese Communist Party chairman said “I’m well aware of what the Bidens are doing,” according to a newly released WhatsApp message the firm wanted.
Biden has repeatedly denied discussing business deals with Hunter, but evidence suggests otherwise
The House Oversight Committee has released a message dated August 3, 2017. The exchange was between Hunter Biden and CEFC Associate Gongwen Dong.
“Very simple,” Hunter wrote. “The budget of 10 M per year should be used to further increase the interest of the JV. This move to 5M is completely new to me and is clearly unacceptable.”
Hunter consulted with his firms, Owasco and Hudson West, to break down costs and how costs are determined.
“If the chairman doesn’t value this relationship to be worth at least 5M, then I’m confused,” Hunter wrote. “I’m tired of this…I can make a $5M salary at any law firm in America. If you think it’s about the money, it’s not.”

He says: “I know the Bidens [sic] very well in doing what the chairman wants out of this partnership. Please don’t fight over peanuts.”
According to a September 2020 report released by the Senate Homeland Security Committee and the Senate Finance Committee on their investigation into Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong, and other Chinese nationals with business associations with Hunter Biden are linked to the Chinese Communist government. and the People’s Liberation Army.
That Senate report says that on August 8, 2017, just days after this WhatsApp message, CEFC wired nearly $5 million to a bank account for Hudson West III, a company Hunter Biden started with Chinese associates.
“These funds may have originated from a loan issued from the account of a company called Northern International Capital Holdings, a Hong Kong-based investment firm once identified as a ‘substantial shareholder’ in CEFC International Ltd along with Ye,” the report said. mentioned. “It is unclear whether Hunter Biden was a half-owner of Hudson West III at the time.”
The report also states, “On the same day as receiving the $5 million and continuing through September 25, 2018, Hudson West III sent solicitation payments to Hunter Biden’s firm, Owasco.” The payments were described as consulting fees and amounted to “$4,790,375.25 in just one year,” the report said.
But the new WhatsApp message isn’t the first correspondence to reveal discussions between Hunter Biden about a $10 million wire for his joint venture, Sinohawk Holdings, and whether his father, President Joe Biden, was involved.
Fox News Digital, in December 2020, first reported on text messages between Hunter Biden business associates Tony Bobulinsky and James Gillier discussing a joint venture with CEFC.

Gillier, in a May 11, 2017 text message to Bobulinsky, wrote: “Man you are right, let’s set up a company, then give H and family higher stakes and get Joe involved.”
The White House says President Biden has “never been in business” with his son.
As for the $10 million, Fox News Digital first reported in December 2020 that Hunter sent an email to Zhao Runlong at CEFC on June 18, 2017, asking them to please “translate my letter to Chairman Ye.”
“I hope you find my letter well. I am sorry to miss you on your last visit to the United States,” Hunter Biden wrote in the attached letter, dated June 17, 2017. “Please also accept greetings from the entire Biden family. As my partners.”
He added: “We all hope to see you again soon here or in Shanghai.”
Biden updated Ye that Biden’s joint venture with CEFC had “completed the establishment of SinoHawk Holdings” and said he was “looking forward” to introducing him to his business associate Tony Bobulinsky. As CEO.”
Biden noted that Bobulinsky “sent a request to Dong Gongwen [Gongwen Dong] and Director Zhang for funding for a $10 MM USD wire.”
“I would appreciate it if you could send it as soon as possible so that we can properly fund and operate Sinohawk,” Biden wrote.

“I’m sure our dear friend Director Zhang has explained to you very well the political and economic ties we have established in the countries you are interested in expanding to in the coming months and years,” he continued. “I look forward to our next meeting.”
Fox News Digital also, in 2020, obtained Ye’s response as part of a September 6, 2017 email from Biden business associate James Gillier to Bobulinski. Yeh forwarded the letter responding to that email to Biden. The letter is dated July 10, 2017.
Ye said he had arranged for Zhang and Dong to “accelerate the charter capital input to SinoHawk.”
“I’m excited to hear from you! Time flies and it’s been months since we met in the US. We always seem to be in a rush when we’re together,” Ye wrote to Biden, adding, “The last time we agreed it materialized on time.”
“I will continue to pay attention and give my support,” Yeh said. “I have arranged for Director Zhang and Gongwen Dong to accelerate the charter capital input to SinoHawk.”
“I look forward to meeting you in the near future and discussing our joint responsibility. Please do not hesitate to write to me if there is anything I can do,” Ye wrote. “Please accept my best wishes to you and your family.”
Meanwhile, Fox News has accused the U.S. of a $10 million transfer. It obtained and reviewed more than a dozen text messages between Bobulinski, a retired Navy lieutenant, and several Biden business associates, as well as CEFC’s Chinese representatives.
From June 25, 2017, to mid-July 2017, the $10 million transfer was delayed for weeks, according to messages reviewed by Fox News. Several text messages indicate the delay was due to visa issues, including an email sent by President Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, who was involved in the joint venture.
Meanwhile, on July 18, 2017, Bobulinsky asked Zhao for “$10 MM or 2x $5MM” in a message, asking them to “send $10 MM in 2 $5 MM tranches, but @ the same time, $5 MM for savings and $5 MM for checking. We like that.”
The transfer was never completed.
Meanwhile, Fox News obtained another email showing Hunter soliciting for his new “office mates,” his father Joe Biden, Jill Biden and Jim Biden, to Cecilia Browning, general manager at the House of Sweden — a mansion in Washington, D.C., that includes multiple office suites, as well as several There are embassies.
In the email, Hunter requested the keys for Biden Gongwen Dong, whom he described as an “emissary” of Chairman Ye Jianming – the chairman of CEFC Chinese Energy Co. “I want the office sign to reflect the following,” he continued, requesting “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US).”
“The lease will be under my company name Rosemont Seneca,” he said, providing details about Dong and Ye, who he referred to as “my partner,” as well as their contact information.
House of Sweden confirmed to Fox News that Hunter Biden’s company, Rosemont Seneca, was renting the office space at the time. However, they refused to share any further information.
The Justice Department announced last week that Hunter Biden would plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income taxes as part of a deal expected to keep him out of prison. The president’s son also agreed to enter into an early diversion agreement on a separate charge of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance. The plea deal is expected to keep the president’s son out of jail.
