Donald Trump Correctly Predicted Hunter Biden Would Be Charged with ‘Something Small’

Former President Donald Trump correctly predicted Hunter Biden would be charged with “Something Small” just weeks before news broke that the president’s son was set to plead guilty to two federal tax evasion charges and a gun law violation.

“They are a party of misinformation!” Trump posted on June 6 on Truth Social. “They’d give Hunter a little beating to make their strike on me look ‘fair’. There is nothing fair or honest about these fascists. Fight!”

On Tuesday morning, news broke that Hunter Biden would plead guilty to two counts of tax misconduct and one count of firearms violations.

The deal involves no jail time.

The Associated Press reported:

As part of the deal, made public Tuesday, Hunter Biden will plead guilty to illegal tax crimes and is expected to strike a deal with prosecutors on a felony charge of illegally possessing a firearm as a drug user. It is somewhat unusual for a federal criminal case to be settled at the same time it is filed in court, but it is not entirely unheard of.

The deal ends a long-running Justice Department investigation into Biden’s second son, who admitted to struggling with addiction following the 2015 death of his brother Beau Biden. It would also avoid an investigation that would generate days or weeks or distracting headlines for a White House that has tried hard to distance itself from the Justice Department.

The news comes as congressional Republicans continue their own investigations into nearly every aspect of Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including looking into foreign payments and other aspects of his finances. It also comes days after former President Donald Trump was indicted on a 37-count charge of mishandling classified documents at his Florida estate, another case with more dramatic political implications.
